Our Hap Ki Do studio just started offering 'Combatives Class' on Tuesday's and Thursday's so I took that up since I still (despite almost two years of training) don't like actually hitting people. I figured it would be a good opportunity to work on my striking as well as practice more 'real life' situation defense. We get to wear mouthguards and grappling and/or boxing gloves and shin pads for now, and I have to say it's a whole different game when your opponents are allowed to hit you in the face. But it's lots of fun and I enjoy it, though that brings my training up to nearly every day of the week.
In other news I've been busy creating jewelry over the past few weeks since I started up an Etsy shop finally (just ask my sister how long she has been trying to get me to make one) and posted my first item tonight! It's actually kinda scary, I don't think I have ever sold one of my creations before!
Right! So here are a couple necklaces...
In other news... I have decided that with two pregnant sisters... I can wait a long time before having kids of my own. I would like a neice this time around though... just putting that out there.
